MSCI selects and weights the most financially significant issues among 35 overall issues by industry. MSCI assigns ratings of Leader (AAA, AA), Average (A, BBB, BB), and Laggard (B, CCC) to companies. MSCI's ESG rating data is widely used by investors in their investment decisions.
CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project)
2023 CDP Climate Rating
CDP is a global climate change project conducted in 91 countries worldwide. Over 7,000 companies disclose greenhouse gas emissions, climate change risks and opportunities, and carbon management strategies through CDP.

Environment
As an energy company, SK Gas recognizes the importance of climate change and environmental issues. Through initiatives such as the Net-Zero Declaration, participation in the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), and TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) disclosures, SK Gas strives for a sustainable future and environmental protection. In the future, SK Gas plans to participate in initiatives such as hydrogen energy dissemination and SBTi (Science-Based Targets). Additionally, SK Gas is a member of the BNBP (Biz N Biodiversity Platform), the domestic organization of the international organization CBD (The Convention on Biological Diversity), which works to protect endangered flora and fauna. SK Gas collaborates with environmental organizations and social enterprises to protect ecosystems in Ulsan and Pyeongtaek.
Society
SK Gas values social responsibility and adopts international guidelines on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. SK Gas is a member of the 'Happiness Alliance,' supporting underprivileged children with meal programs, and collaborates with local governments and welfare centers through the 'Hope Maker' program to support local youth. To enhance information security and personal data protection, SK Gas obtained ISMS-P (Personal information & Information Security Management System) certification in August 2023.
Governance
Transparency and fairness are crucial for building trust between a company and its stakeholders. SK Gas strives to align its ethical management system with global standards, implementing and operating the ISO 37001 (Anti-Bribery Management Systems) certification.

Hydrogen Fusion Alliance
SK Gas has been a member of the Hydrogen Fusion Alliance since November 2022 to achieve an early low-carbon hydrogen economy. Additionally, SK Gas is promoting the development of Zero Carbon Solution business to expand hydrogen energy and foster related industries.
